Some women have a long surge for more than 1 day so this means if you just do the above and presume the next day the egg releases and that's the only day you BD (when it really does it 2-3 days later) you've hosed yourself. The best thing IMO is to keep tracking (+) OPK test until you have a BBT temperature drop also.BBT shows AFTER O. (You don't get your change on BBT until after you have already O). OPK advised 24-36 hours PRIOR to O. By using OPK and BBT, you should forecast your O date with the OPK and verify you did O via BBT. I got my first positive opk on 5th June and other symptoms and today the 8th I’ve still not had a temp rise . I’m using OvuSense too. So I know it’s not how I’m doing it . I’m worried I don’t ovulate at all I’m on cd 21. .
